James Anthony "Tony" Boren

James Anthony "Tony" Boren (48) passed away Monday, April 1, 2024 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born February 4, 1976 to James Elton Boren, Jr. and the late Shirley Glover Boren. He grew up in Tupelo and attended Tupelo Public Schools, where his mother was also a teacher. He met the love of his life, Jennifer Cavender, in March of 2008 and they were married March 10, 2009.

Anthony was a sweet gentle man with a great sense of humor. He was always smiling and cracking jokes. He loved all music, from blue grass gospel, 80's classics, country and 50 & 60's  rock n' roll.

He enjoyed spending time with his children and his faithful sidekick, Shadow (AKA, Shady) more than anything in this world. He leaves behind so many memories to be treasured forever.

Tony is survived by his wife of 15 years, Jennifer Boren of Fulton; his children, Matthew Thompson of Fulton and Vanessa Hatchett of Greenwood Springs; his father, James Elton Boren, Jr. of Booneville and his beloved dog, Shadow.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Glover Boren.

Per Tony's request, there will be no services to take place.
