Jamee Jeanne (Nichols) Dowdie

Jamee (Jaime) Jeanne Nichols Dowdie (68) of Tishomingo, MS, passed away on the evening of September 2, 2021 at her home in the Tishomingo, where she resided for the last 8 years. She was born on March 13, 1953 in Greenville, MS. She was a 1971 graduate of Greenville High School. She enjoyed calligraphy, needle tatting and hummingbirds.

She was preceded in death by her father, James E. Nichols; her mother, Jeanne Hamilton Nichols; her half-brother, Lionel "Skipper" Owens and her granddaughter, Hannah Grace Dowdie.

She is survived by her son, Charles "Chad" H. Dowdie III of Memphis; her daughter, Kayla Jeanne Dowdie of Tishomingo; her grandson, Charles "Charlie" H. Dowdie IV of Memphis; her granddaughters, Lylla Jeanne Dowdie and Sarah Grace Dowdie; her brother, Jeffery Nichols of Union City, TN; her son-in-law, James H. Stone and a host of nieces, nephews and pets that she loved dearly.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 11 am in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home, 116 South Third St. Baldwyn, MS 38824
