J.V. Riddle

J.V. Riddle (74) passed away Thursday, September 21, 2023 at his home in Booneville. He was a veteran of the MS National Guard. He was a member of Martin Hill Freewill Baptist Church and a volunteer fireman at Bunkom Hill Fire Dept. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, singing karaoke, camping, building things, working on cars, helping others and spending time with his family. He had a heart of gold and loved everyone.

Services are 2 pm Saturday, September 23, 2023 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. William Copeland and Hunter Tolar officiating. Burial will follow in the Mackey's Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Friday, September 22, 2023 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.

J.V. is survived by his children, Jason Riddle (Brandie) of Booneville, Monica Senter (Craig) of Booneville, Jessica Gamble (Jamie) of Booneville, Ben Dodds (Amanda) of LA, Jeff Williams of Iuka and Tim Williams (Heather) of Peppertown; his sister, Mary Alice Hopkins (Harold) of Booneville; his niece, Lisa Harrison (Christian) of Taylor; his devoted friend, Charlotte Riddle of Booneville; the mother to 4 of his children, Faye Jackson; his grandchildren, Jimmy Wayne Senter, Samuel Senter, Jemma Senter, Zane Isabella Riddle, Zayta Riddle, Zeke Jae Riddle, Lexi Gamble, Abby Gambill Lindsey (Blake), Hunter Tolar, DJ Lewis (Kim), Brentyn Meeks, Bryson Meeks, Jordan Williams (Jessie), Adam Williams, Robin Trevino (Niall), Ashley McCarthy (Michael), Katherine Williams, Lance Williams, Ethan Williams, Kayla Horsley (Justin) and Christy Martello (Vincent) and his great-grandchildren, Isiah Senter, Adaleigh Tolar, Isiah Tolar, Ella Grace Lewis and Lollie Claire Lindsey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Erskin and Zera Riddle; his son, Darrell Williams; his in-laws, Curtis and Mauveline Taylor and his great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Lewis and Emma Senter.

Pallbearers are Danny Jones, Earl Wheelington, Ricky Hamilton, William Plaxico, Mark Shook, Charlie Cartwright and DJ Lewis.

Honorary pallbearers are Jim Olsen, Joe Sheppard, Don King and Gerald Dodds.
