Harold Wayne McCullough (80) entered into the Kingdom of God on December 29, 2023 after suffering from a brief illness. He was a member of Springville Baptist Church. He enjoyed watching westerns, being outside, mowing his yard, fishing, gardening and traveling. His biggest passion was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His love for his wife was undeniable and he longed for the day to see her in Heaven since her passing on November 14, 2023. Although he will be missed by all, his family rests assured knowing he is where he truly longed to be.
Services are 1 pm Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Springville Baptist Church with Bro. Joey Swords and Bro. Arch officiating. Burial will follow in the Baldwin Memorial Gardens in Pontotoc. Visitation will be 12-1 pm Wednesday at Springville Baptist Church.
Harold is survived by his sons, Chris McCullough (Tammie) of Potts Camp, Lloyd McCullough of Horn Lake and Billy Tedford (Kim) of Pontotoc; his daughters, Kendra Ray of Toccopola and Paula Horne (David) of Pontotoc; his brother, Sammy McCullough of New Albany; his sisters, Sharon Autry (Ronnie), Betty Bennett (Eddie) and Karen "KK" Childers (Robert), all of Hickory Flat; his brother-in-law, Jeff DePrince of FL; his long-time friend, Eva Smith of Pontotoc and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy "Dot" McCullough; his parents, Robert & Lorraine McCullough and one brother.
