H. Nelson Moreland

H. Nelson Moreland (62) passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN. He enjoyed trading, cooking, his horses, basketball, drinking coffee, eating ice cream and spending time with his family, especially his daughter.

Services are 3 pm Friday, September 10, 2021 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Earl Barron officiating. Visitation will be 1-3 Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Little Brown Cemetery in New Site.

Nelson is survived by his daughter, Brooklyn Moreland (Branson Williams); his son, Jeremy Moreland; his step-son, Chance Perry; his brother, Mark Moreland (Julie); his sisters, Diane Akers and Shirley Leonowitz and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Shelton and Helen Moreland; his brother, Dennis Moreland; his grandparents and his special aunts and uncles.

Pallbearers are; Tim Cunningham, Richard Tollison, Cliff Gray, Kevin Woodruff, Trent Rogers, Ricky Huddleston, Chuck Rodgers and Chance Perry.
