Grady A. Hooper (73) passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, softball & baseball, traveling and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Services are 1 pm Sunday, February 1, 2026 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Brad Boren officiating. Visitation will be 11-1 Sunday in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.
Grady is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sue Hooper of Booneville; his daughters, Michelle Cox (Shawn) of Booneville, Tonya Hooper of FL and Bonnie Ream of OK; his brothers, Marshall Dowdy of Booneville, Charles Hooper, Jr. (Eloise) of TN, Tommy Hooper of Glen and Timmy Hooper (Patricia) of Walnut; his grandchildren, Alex Kemerling, Sasha Johnson, Richie Ellis, Preston Hooper (Melyeah), Jathan Wray, Melana Mills, Bryce Giesken, Lauren Giesken, Austin Pannell and Caleb Sanders (Karegan) and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Annie Lee Hooper, his son, Johnny Giesken and his grandson, Justin Kemerling.
