Grady Paul Bonds

Grady “Paul” Bonds, 73, of Booneville, MS, Passed away on January 26, 2025, after a sudden illness.  Paul was born on May 31, 1951, in McNairy Co, Tennessee. He moved to Booneville, MS in 1963. He attended Booneville High School, where he met his wife Linda. Paul and Linda were married on July 11, 1970. They went on to have two children, Randy and Jessica.

 
Paul began working for Booneville Fire Department, as the Fire Inspector, in 1978, and went on to become Building Inspector and Zoning Officer. He remained employed with the City of Booneville until he retired in 2004. 
A member of Tuscumbia Baptist Church since 1980. Paul’s faith was an integral part of his life. Outside of work and church. Paul enjoyed riding motorcycles, racing go carts, writing songs, and spending quality time with his family.

Services are Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Rex Bullock and Bro. Lee Dillard officiating. Burial will follow in Booneville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 am to 2 pm Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.

Surviving family includes his wife of 54 years, Linda Gray Bonds.  His daughter Jessica Shook (Mark), his Granddaughters Kaleigh Harrison (Logan), Taylor Blythe, and Sarah Shook. Grandsons Tyson Shook and Gabe Shook. and Great Granddaughters Lainey Harrison and Isla Harrison. Siblings Jimmy Bonds (Sharon), Liz Crum (Leroy), Patricia Bernard, Sandy Theodoris and Randy Godwin. 

He was proceeded in death by his son, Randy Bonds, sister Sandra Roach and Sister in Law Brenda Bonds.
