Gloria McCoy Ellis

Gloria McCoy Ellis (69) passed away Friday, August 5, 2022 at her home in Biggersville. She enjoyed crafting, shopping, gardening, collecting, tending to her flowers and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Services are 1 pm Tuesday, August 9, 2022 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Ray Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Danville Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Monday, August 8, 2022 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.

Gloria is survived by her spouse, Jim Moody of Biggersville; her sons, Kevin Ellis (Christy) of Booneville and Dustin Ellis (Autumn) of Kossuth; her grandchildren, Darian Hutchens (Tyler), Dylan Ellis (Amy), Drake Ellis and Chase Ellis; her great-grandchildren, Daisy Hutchens and Leland Ellis and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcus Wade McCoy and Annie Lou McCoy; her brothers, Danny and Marcus McCoy and an infant sister.

Pallbearers are Shawn Hall, Levi Hall, Justin Moody, Dylan Ellis, Drake Ellis, Chase Ellis, Cody Moody and Eric Ballard.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help with funeral expenses.
