Glenda Doris Wright

Glenda Doris Wright (69) passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at her home in Trussville, AL. She was a member of Fairview Freewill Baptist Church in Moody, AL. She enjoyed doing crafts, going to the beach, watching birds and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Services are 3 pm Sunday, November 26, 2023 at Journey Community Church (Jones Chapel) with Bro. Jack Whitley, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Journey Community Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-3 pm Sunday at Journey Community Church.

Glenda is survived by her husband of 50 years, Tommy Wright of Trussville, AL; her son, Kevin Wright (Shea) of Trussville, AL; her daughter, Cheryl Malone of Tampa, FL; her brothers, Junior Moore (Amy) of Booneville and Jeff Allen of Columbia, TN; her sisters, Nelda Taylor (Phillip) of Marietta, Dianne King (Don) of Altitude, Robin Michaels of FL and Melanie Allen of FL and her grandchildren, Hanna, Breanna & Isaac Malone and Bennett & Anna Kate Wright.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Jewel Moore; her father, Robert Allen and her brothers, David, Danny & Billy Moore and James & George Allen.

Pallbearers are Bradley Taylor, Brent Thompson, Casey Thompson, Rick McAnally, Austin McAnally and Mark Conley.
