George Edward Carpenter

George Edward Carpenter (66) passed away Thursday, August 13, 2020 at his home in Altitude. He retired from FMC after 36 years. He enjoyed sitting on his front porch swing, farming and being with his family.

Services will be 1 pm Sunday, August 16, 2020 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Dewayne Morgan and Bro. Ronnie Martin officiating. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Walden Cemetery.

Edward is survived by his sons, Paul Carpenter (Jennifer) of Altitude and Patrick Carpenter (Heather) of Rienzi; his daughter, Melissa Bridges of Altitude; his brother, Eugene Carpenter of Altitude; his grandchildren, Katelyn Spencer (Kody), Haley Carpenter, Ethan Bridges, Madalyn Carpenter, Katie Carpenter, John Evan Bridges, Colby Carpenter and Aliya Gunn Bridges and his great-grandson to be, Kyson Spencer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Carpenter; his parents, Johnny and Jimmie Carpenter and his brothers, Sylvester, Curtis and Jerry Carpenter.

Pallbearers are; Ethan Bridges, Kody Spencer, Benji King, Jeff Bridges, Adam Smith and Aaron Hartley.

Honorary pallbearers are; John Evan Bridges and Colby Carpenter.
