Gene Stone

Gene Stone (71) passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was of Christian faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, driving & working with his dump truck and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Services are 2 pm Wednesday, December 3, 2025 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Barefield officiating. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Tuesday, December 2, 2025 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.

Gene is survived by his wife, Donna Stone; his son, Chris Stone (Cathy); his daughter, Tammy Stone; his grandchildren, Celena, Brice, Dashawn, Dakota, Cherish, Stephanie and Michael; his great grandchildren, Karame & Kazumi; his mother, Betty Wallis; his sisters, Pam Cook, Judy Box, Marsha Coley and Margie Stone and his brother, Robert Stone.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Stone; his step-mother, Corrine Stone; his step-father, Bud Wallis and his brother, James William Stone.

Pallbearers are Jessie Box, Dakota Stone, Bailey Watkins, Kenneth Rogers, Jerry Cockrell, Malcolm Cook, Michael Russell and Mason Clark.
