Garnetta Ann Hoard

Garnetta Ann Hoard (76) passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She attended Wheeler Church of God. She loved going to church, being outdoors, cooking and spending time with her family.

Services are 2 pm Thursday, March 14, 2024 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Cleveland and Bro. Kevin Balius officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion Rest Community Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 pm Wednesday, March 13, 2024 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.

Garnetta is survived by her son, Anthony Hoard; her brothers, Donnie McKinney, Danny McKinney and Harold McKinney (Kim); her nephews, Jessie McKinney, Joey McKinney and Randy Essary; her nieces, Sherry McKinney, Terri McKinney, Nikki Foster and Annette Essary and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vester & Ritha McKinney; her sister, Joan Essary; her brothers, Doyle, Darrell and Gary McKinney and her infant son, David Wayne Hoard.

Pallbearers are Matt Thompson, Jessie McKinney, Joey McKinney, Josh Yarber, Randy Essary, Tony Wright, Bryson Asher and Kerry Cunningham.
