Framond Lee Owens (70) was born December 27, 1953 in Prentiss County to the late Wilburn and Lula Mac Owens. He gained his wings on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at his home around 9 am. He loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. If he could play a joke on someone, he did it. He was loved by so many. Everyone will miss him greatly. He also loved to cook, fish, watch wrestling, sing, coloring on his iPad and watching old westerns. He was a member of Provision Ministry in Iuka, MS.
Services are 3 pm Thursday, April 25, 2024 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Pellizzer officiating. Burial will follow in the Crossroads Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Wednesday, April 24, 2024 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.
Framond is survived by his wife of 9 years, Barbara J. Owens of Burnsville; his children, Tabitha Wilkins (David) of Iuka, Tiffany Keltner (Casey) of Iuka, Kenneth Walthers (Susan) of Burnsville, Deborah Walthers of Burnsville and Regina Tutor (Paul Huggins) of Saltillo; his brothers, Larry Owens (Charlotte) of Jumpertown and Stevie Owens; his sister, Linda Grissom Box of Iuka; 16 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Darrel, Freddie and Wayne "Dolly" Owens.
Pallbearers are Nelson Stevenson, Chaise Ashcraft, Blake Allred, Paul Huggins, Noah Hill, Casey Keltner, James Tutor, Bud Brooks and MeMe Keltner.
Honorary pallbearers are Kenneth Walthers, Bobby Ross, Mason Lambert, Herman Redwine, Murray Davis and Austin Wilkins.
