In Loving Memory of Mr. Foye Wade Davis...
A celebration of life for Mr. Foye Wade Davis, 78, who was last seen near his home on June 22, 2022, will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Jacinto Church of Christ. Brothers Chad Bowen and Lonnie McKee will officiate. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. and continue until the service time at 2:00 p.m.
Born and raised in the Jacinto community, Wade was proud of his roots and devoted his life to service, family, and faith. He was one of the founding members of the Jacinto Volunteer Fire Department and served as president of the Jacinto Community Cemetery.
A successful business owner, Wade built his reputation as a skilled mechanic, auto dealer, body repairman, and carpenter. His hands-on expertise and entrepreneurial spirit made him a trusted figure in the community.
Later in life, Wade answered his higher calling and became the preacher of the Rienzi Church of Christ. His love for God was unwavering, and he lived each day as a faithful servant, guided by scripture and humility.
Wade found joy in the simple pleasures--raising and caring for his boxer dogs, traveling, and spending time with his family. His presence was steady, his heart full, and his faith unshakeable.
Though his absence has been deeply felt, Wade's legacy lives on in the lives he touched - his family, his friends, and the community he loved so dearly. He will be remembered with love and gratitude.
Wade is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Betty Sue Burcham Davis; his sons, Timmy Davis (Cindy) of Jacinto, MS and Michael Davis (Shelly) of Midway, MS; his daughters, Sharon Clemmer (Andy) of New Albany, MS and Shelia Sancillo Tice of Belden, MS; his grandchildren, Jeb Betts, Joe Betts, Slade Davis (Faith), Lacey Davis, Kayden Davis, Cody Clemmer (Caroline), Jessica Garrett (Austin), Mason Sancillo (Isabella), Eva Sancillo, Andrea Cameron (Graham), and Sara Sancillo (Chris); 14 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Wade was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas & Irene Davis; his siblings, Clay Davis (Weatha), Wayne Davis (Sue), Avis Ward (MD), Geneva Bates (Hurshel), Mattie Stevens (Cleovis) and Mildred Davis.
May his memory be a blessing, his faith an inspiration, and his life a testament to love and service to our Lord Jesus Christ.
