Evan Eugene Brown Obituary

Evan Eugene Brown (44) of Washington, Utah, passed away on June 14, 2024 at his home due to a pulmonary embolism. Evan was born on July 10, 1979 at Cherry Point Marine Corps Air Station, North Carolina to Eugene Robert Brown and Vicci Darlene (Wiggins) Brown and grew up in Booneville, MS. He graduated from Booneville High School "Class of 97" and attended Northeast Mississippi Community College.

At age 19, Evan dedicated two years of service as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Spokane, Washington Mission.

Evan met his future bride, Alisha, and the two were married for time and all eternity on August 11, 2001 in the St. Louis, Missouri Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

He was a dedicated son, brother, husband, father and friend. Evan's greatest accomplishment was his son, Ethan, and he was so proud of the young man Ethan is becoming. Evan worked hard for his family. His main profession was in sales/leadership and he excelled in the industry throughout the years. We will greatly miss his sense of humor, his sarcasm, his love and the laughter he brought to each of us. He was a huge fan of the Mississippi State Bulldogs and the Iowa Hawkeyes. All who knew him quickly found this out. Evan had a deep love for his Heavenly Father and his family. We all love him greatly and will forever miss him.

Services are 2 pm Saturday, June 29, 2024 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Booneville, MS. Burial will follow at Faith Baptist Church Cemetery in Myrtle, MS. Visitation will be 12-2 pm Saturday at the church.
