Eddie Barnett

Eddie Barnett (64) passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was a member of East Booneville Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, watching football, shooting guns and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Services will be 2 pm Sunday, August 2, 2020 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Daniels and Bro. Steve Howell officiating. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the South Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church in Tishomingo.

Eddie is survived by his wife of 16 years, Denise Kennedy Barnett of Booneville; his sons, Michael Barnett of Iuka, Mark Barnett (Mandi) of Booneville and Cody Barnett of Booneville; his brother, Tony Barnett (Missie) of Tupelo; his sister, Linda Aldridge of Tupelo and his grandchildren, Tylor, Jaiden, Lucas and Hailey Barnett.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Maury and Lela Barnett; his brother, James M. Barnett and his sister, Angie Cummings.

Pallbearers are; Glen Cummings, Ronnie Holley, David Hare, Eddie Greene, Paul Kennedy and Tracy Dunaway.
