E.W. Murray

E.W. Murray (83) passed away Friday, February 23, 2024 at his home in Rienzi. He was a member of Hilltop Church of God. He enjoyed riding horses & motorcycles, hunting, fishing and going to auctions.

Services are 2 pm Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Hilltop Church of God with Bro. Darren Howell and Bro. Daryl McDonald officiating. Burial will follow in the Hilltop Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-2 pm Sunday at Hilltop Church of God.

E.W. is survived by his wife of 59 years, Shirley Murray of Rienzi; his daughter, Latasha Painter of Booneville; his grandchildren, Kameron Painter and Preston Herron and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry D. & Mae Frost Murray; his sisters, Hazel White (Prator), Velma Cole (Sheffield) and Jean Boice (Bob) and his brother, Cecil Murray.

Pallbearers are Brock Grisham, Chris Bryan, Ricky Willis, Thelton Vanderford, Brent Vanderford, Michael Blome, Randy Stewart and Timothy Brown.

Honorary pallbearers are Joseph Wheeler, Kameron Painter and Preston Herron.
