Douglas "Blueboy" Wouldridge (69) passed away Friday, August 1, 2025 at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was a member of South Marietta Baptist Church. He was a truck driver for most of his life. He enjoyed working on tractors and four-wheelers, driving his truck and spending time with his family.
Services are 4 pm Monday, August 4, 2025 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Kenneth Gentry officiating. Burial will follow in the Pratts Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 pm Monday in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.
Blueboy is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Burks of Baldwyn and Samantha Buse (Tyler Lindsey) of Baldwyn; his sisters, Doris Ann Wouldridge of Wheeler and Kathy Gentry (Kenneth) of Marietta; his grandchildren, Emily Nanney of Marietta, Holleigh Hanna (Dalton) of Tupelo, Maddi Burks (Gavin) of Jumpertown, Lilyanna Buse of Marietta, Baya Buse of Marietta, Baylee Buse of Marietta and Alonnah Doggett of Marietta and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shenia Hutcheson; his mother, Mary Ann Caviness; his brother, Wade Wouldridge and his grandparents.
Pallbearers are Trent Warren, Grant Warren, Steven Gentry, Jeff Gentry, Tyler Lindsey and JW Harris.
