Dorothy Jean "Dot" McCullough

Dorothy Jean "Dot" McCullough (75) passed away peacefully at her home in Pontotoc on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. She was a member of Springville Baptist Church. She loved to play bingo, traveling to see her brother and sister, going to watch her son race and spending time with her family whom she loved dearly, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved celebrating her favorite holiday, Christmas.

Services are 2 pm Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Springville Baptist Church with Bro. Joey Swords and Bro. Arch officiating. Burial will follow in the Baldwin Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 12-2 pm Thursday at Springville Baptist Church.

Dot is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Harold McCullough of Pontotoc; her daughter, Paula Horne (David) of Pontotoc; her sons, Billy Tedford (Kim) of Thaxton and Chris McCullough of Potts Camp; her brother, Jeff DePrince of FL; her grandchildren that proudly called her "Nana;" Corey Horne (Cassie) of Pontotoc, Cameron Cherry (Dave) of Tupelo, Brooke Tedford Carter (Sidney) of Pontotoc and Cammie Tedford Kesler (Sam) of Baldwyn; her great-grandchildren, Colton Dean, Jacob, Lexi, Zoey, Adley Grace, Acie, Raygen, Anna Prestyn, Lyza, Gracie, Maggie, Shelby, Jolie and Gabe and her great great-grandchild, Khi.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Betty & Harold Niehaus and her sister, Pat Moran.

Pallbearers are Corey Horne, Cameron Cherry, Dave Cherry, Sidney McClain, Walker Hale and Sam Kesler.
