Dorothy Bailey

Dorothy Bailey (74) passed away Monday, July 6, 2020 at her home in New Site. She was of Church of Christ faith. She enjoyed singing, gardening and cooking. 

Services will be 2 pm Tuesday, July 7, 2020 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Haskell Sparks officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 12-2 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. 

Dorothy is survived by her husband, James Bailey of New Site; her son, Lonnie Bailey (Tammy) of New Site; her daughter, Lisa Carlton of Holly Springs; her sisters, Betty Tennison (Holly) of Brandon, Margie Orear of New Site and Mittie Sartain (Billy) of Belmont; her grandchildren, Josh Bailey, Lindsey Jeter, Mallory Lewis, Bronson Pharr and Ripley Mize and 9 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Faye Ivy Gentry; her sister, Opal Taylor and her brother, Wade Gentry.
