Doris "Sissy" Lee Bowden

Doris "Sissy" Bowden (71) passed away Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. She enjoyed spending time with her kids, grandkids, great-grandkids and sisters.

Memorial Services are 1 pm Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Rex Bullock officiating. Visitation will be from 11 to 1 at the funeral home.

Doris is survived by her son, Bill Bowden (Catina Lindsey) of Guntown; her daughters, Barbara Greer (Missy) of Corinth and Tonya Bennett of Corinth; her grandchildren, Dakota Sartain (Justin), Crystal Pratt (Richard), Cheyenne Guy (Emmet), Harley Helms, Chris Welch, John Welch and Matthew Lindsey; her great-grandchildren, Olivia Greenlee, Braxton "Munchkin" Pratt, Lily Pratt, Nolan Greenlee, Saydee Greenlee, Lilah Kate Sartain, Delancy Sartain, Lincoln Sartain, Madli Sartain, Maddox Pratt and Gavin Sartain; her sisters, Dianne Harris and Julie Threadgill; special family members, Michael Hunter and Marie Evertt; her nephews, Chris Stevens, Corey Stevens, Johnny Steen and Nick Pate.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leamon Stevens; her mother and stepfather, Barbara Burkhalter and Johnny Burkhalter; her brother, Robert Stevens; her grandparents, James and Estelle Moore, and Louis and Isa Stevens; and her son-in-law, Phil Bennett.
