Doris Davis

Doris Davis (84)  passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Landmark Nursing and Rehab Center in Booneville. She enjoyed sewing, her flowers and cooking. She was known at family gatherings for her mac & cheese, chicken & dressing and chocolate cookies. She spent years in the garment factories and retired from Plumrose. After retiring she loved baby sitting for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Services will be 1:00 Monday, April 12, 2021 at Kesler Funeral Home Booneville Chapel. Visitation will be 11-2 on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Sardis Cemetery.

She is survived by her son, Ernest Davis of Booneville; her sister, Helen Shackleford of Booneville; her grandchildren, Anna Davis, Chris Davis (Amber), Joseph Daniel Davis, Trey Hatfield and Braxton Barnes; her great-grandchildren, Emma, Presleigh, and Wyatt Davis, Destiny and Aleigah Hatfield; her daughter-in-law, Teresa Davis of Booneville and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Clara Turner; her son, Tommy Davis and her daughter, Joyce LaJuan Davis.

Pallbearers will be; Dale and Ricky Lee, Chris Davis, Trey Hatfield, Paul Ray Hall and Rick Hare.
