Obituary
Donnie Ray (Duck) Weatherbee (82) passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023 at North Mississippi Medical Center. He was a member of Thrasher Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, watching sports, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Donnie is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sammie Weatherbee of Rienzi; his sons, Todd Weatherbee (Tracie) of Rienzi and Ty Weatherbee (Darla) of Rienzi; his brother Cecil Weatherbee (Jackie) of Rienzi, his sisters, Mollie Potts of Rienzi, Zandria Huddleston (David) of Booneville, Annette Richardson of Rienzi and Virginia Cummings (Roy) of Blackland; his sister-in-law, Joyce Weatherbee of Rienzi; his grandchildren, Blake Weatherbee (Madison), Landon Weatherbee (Jalan), Shawn Dalton Weatherbee, Gatlin Weatherbee, Abby Weatherbee and Dawson Weatherbee and 3 great grandchildren, Demi Weatherbee, Davis Claire Weatherbee, and Sawyer Weatherbee.
He was preceded in death by his son, John Samuel Weatherbee and his brothers, Hugh Thomas Weatherbee and Bobby Weatherbee; his parents John and Alma Weatherbee.
Services are Monday, May 15, 2023 at 2 pm at Thrasher Baptist Church with Bro. Shane Evetts officiating. Burial will follow in the Sardis Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 12-2 at Thrasher Baptist Church.
