Donald Willard Gibbs

Donald Willard Gibbs passed away peacefully on March 20, 2022 surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on February 25, 1960 in Waukegan, IL, but currently resided in Corinth. He enjoyed listening to music, fishing, cooking, watching sports and spending time with family and beloved dogs. Don spent most of his working life a Tool and Die maker at Cherry Electric.

Don was preceded in death by his wife, Susan; his dad, Willard; his brother-in-law, Mike and his grandparents. He will be missed by his mother, Patricia; his daughter, Tara (Mike); his son, Kenny; his granddaughter, Abby; his sister-in-law, Jessica; his sisters, Pam, Joan and Cathy as well as many other family and friends.

There are no services scheduled at this time. The family would like to send a special thanks to his great friend, Herb for his loyalty to Don throughout his years in MS.

His daughter wrote: A father like you is rare, one that is so generous, smart and kind. A father like you is what everyone needs, full of smile and laughter, always doing great deeds for others. Nothing can replace a father like you but when you get to Heaven, God will be lucky to have you too.
