Davis Lamon Armstrong

Davis Lamon Armstrong (93) passed away Monday, October 21, 2024 at his home in Booneville. He enjoyed mowing his yard, sitting on his front porch swing, feeding all the animals and spending time with his family. He truly never met a stranger.

Services are 2 pm Wednesday, October 23, 2024 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Hatfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Jericho Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-2 pm Wednesday in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.

Davis is survived by his children, Phyllis Cunningham, James Armstrong (Jamie) and Melinda Wicker (Johnny); his sister, Vivian Rhodes; his brother, Marvel Armstrong; 6 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Sue Armstrong; his parents, Flora Mae Martin and Joe Armstrong; his daughter, Monta Sue Wagaman; his grandsons, Michael Hurst and Richard Wayne Palmer; his great grandson, Zachary Minter and his brother, Wilton Armstrong.
