Daniel Reed Burk

Daniel Reed Burk (48) of Saltillo passed away Friday, March 27, 2025. In his free time, Daniel loved playing video games and making people laugh. He also enjoyed spending time with his daughter and his faithful dog companion, Pete.

Daniel was born March 19, 1977 in Tupelo, MS to the late Jerry Burk and the late Phyllis Herring Potts.

His survivors include one daughter, Savannah Burk of Saltillo; One sister, Sunny Burk Marshall (Andrew); Two step-sisters, Shelia Potts and Mandy Peoples; Two step-brothers, Keith Potts (Rhonda) and Randy Potts (Diana); and a host of nieces and nephews.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Phyllis; his step-father, Joe Potts and his grandparents.
