Mrs. Cora Dean Hatfield (87) passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Baldwyn Nursing Facility in Baldwyn. She was a member of Jumpertown Church of Christ. She retired from Red Cap, and also from Baldwyn Nursing Facility. She enjoyed arts and crafts, and taking care of her precious flowers. She loved cooking for her family, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Services are 12 pm Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.
Cora is survived by her children, Gary Hatfield (Gail), Anna Wren (Glen), Renee Roberts (Terry) and David Hatfield (Phyllis); her sister, Dale Medlin; her grandchildren, Marsha Dawson, Michael Hatfield, Nathan Conwill (Kayla), Jeremy Hanna (Sonya), April Baker, Kylah Sellers (Brandon), Josh Wren (Brandy), Jonathan Roberts (Brittany), Courtney Harris (Jason), Cody Hatfield (Jenna) and Dylan Hatfield; and a multitude of great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul G. Hatfield; her daughter, Shelia Hatfield; her mother, Eula Mae Yarbrough; her father, Samuel Yarbrough; her sister, Geneva Morrow; and her brothers, Gerald Yarbrough, Billy Yarbrough and Buddy Yarbrough.
Pallbearers are Cody Hatfield, Dylan Hatfield, Jonathan Roberts, Jason Harris, Zack Scott, Josh Wren and Dalton Hanna.
