Clovis Guy Yates

Clovis Guy Yates (91) passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Landmark Nursing Facility in Booneville. He was born June 15, 1929 to the late Clovis and Eliza Yates. He enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, bird hunting and spending time with his family.

Private family services will be 2 pm Sunday, October 11, 2020 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with his grandsons, Tyler Wilson and Chris Grisham officiating. Visitation will be 12-2 pm on Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Jumpertown Cemetery.

Clovis is survived by his daughters, Brenda Chittom (Richard Tollison), Cynthia Wilson (Ronny) and Kim Swinney (James Frank) all of Booneville; his sisters, Martha Jumper (Douglas), Sadie Harden and Linda McCreary all of Booneville; his grandchildren, Angie Grisham (Chris) of Corinth, Carla Weatherbee of Booneville, Landon Wilson in Louisana, Tyler Wilson (Holly) of Booneville and Jay Swinney of Booneville; his son-in-law, Charles Davis of Booneville and his special caregivers, Odesser Perrin and Vicky Bullock.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jamie Latch Yates; his daughter, Bennie Kay Davis; his son, Trent Yates and 5 sisters.
