Cleveland Junior Michael

Cleveland Junior Michael (75) passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. He was born November 5, 1948 to the late Cleveland and Myrtle Wilemon Michael. He attended Prospect Church. He was a brick mason for 50+ years. He enjoyed working, gardening, tending to his pigs, cows & chickens on the farm and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services are 2 pm Thursday, December 21, 2023 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Hamblin and Bro. Bud Wheatley officiating. Burial will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery in the Tuscumbia Community. Visitation will be 12-2 pm Thursday in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.

Junior is survived by his wife of 53 years, Molly Michael of Rienzi; his daughter, Teresa Forman of Rienzi; his sons, Timmy Michael (Heather) of Booneville and Joseph Michael of Corinth; his daughter-in-law, Betty Michael of Rienzi; his brother, Danny Michael (Karen) of Rienzi; his sisters, Barbara Hudson (Terrell) of Corinth, Bobbie Gray (Danny) of Baldwyn and Ruby Barron of Thrasher; his grandsons, Donnie Michael (Kayla), Terry Forman (Tab), Colton Michael (Haley), Ethan Michael, Chance Michael (Kelsey) and Elijah Michael; his granddaughters, Brittany Smith (Timmy), Anna Michael, Kimberly Bland (Jordan), Kinsey Lambert and Mollie Michael and his great-grandchildren, Khloee, Sadie, Paxton, Matthew and Paityn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleveland & Myrtle Michael; his son, Matthew Michael; his brother, Columbus Michael and his sisters, Mozelle Lewellen, Neva Rancher and Linda Jo Walden.

His grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
