Chris Hale Stephens (60) passed away Monday, October 2, 2023 in Ohio. He was a member of In His Name Church. He enjoyed fishing, grilling and watching TV. He was a family oriented man with a passion for truck driving. He drove over a million miles in a semi and spent many days away from home, but now he is home forever.
Services are 12 pm Monday October 9, 2023 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Daughtry officiating. Burial will follow in the Jumpertown Cemetery. Visitation will be 10-12 Monday in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.
Chris is survived by his wife of 34 years, Elizabeth Iion Stephens of Blackland; his sons, Benjamin Stephens of Blackland and Leroy Brown (Samantha) of Blackland; his daughter, Amber Dodd (Aaron) of Booneville; his sisters, Donna Carter of MI and Jenette Carter of IN; his brothers-in-law, Donny Wever (Barbara) of Dry Creek, Wesley Swindle (Renee) of Montana, Andrew Swindle of Blackland and John Frye of IN; his sisters-in-law, Catherine Jay of Newton, MS, Cece Vickers (Bob) of IN and Jessie Sloan (Randy) of IN; his nieces and nephews, Kimberly Wever, Elizabeth, Michael, Elizabeth, Amanda, Altha, Beth, Valery, Jenell, Stacy, Brandon, Chrystal, Timothy and Isiah.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer & Lois Stephens; his sister, Sandra and his in-laws, Floyd & Elizabeth Swindle.
Pallbearers are Benjamin Stephens, Leroy Stephens, Aaron Dodd, Daniel Brown, Andrew Palmer, Daniel Camiolo and Andrew Cinqmires.
