Charles Henry Davis (74) passed away Monday, January 6, 2025 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in Vietnam. He was a skilled and well known carpenter. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards and dominos, fishing, watching Ole Miss football and spending time with his family.
Services are 1 pm Thursday, January 9, 2025 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Jumpertown Cemetery. Visitation will be 11-1 Thursday in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.
Charles is survived by his daughter, Carla Davis Weatherbee (Cliff Floyd) of Booneville; his granddaughters, Madison Weatherbee (Brandon Beckham) of Biggersville, Mackensey Floyd of Booneville and Marley Jeffries of Booneville; his great grandsons, Braxton & Waylon Beckham; his brothers, Danny & Michael Carroll of Booneville; his sisters, Brenda Hoard (Jimmy) of Booneville, Debra Stewart of Booneville and JoAnn McDonald (Ricky) of Corinth and his uncle, Donald Davis (Diane) of Booneville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bennie Kay Davis; his mother, Winnie May Carroll; his father, Henry Garrett; his grandparents, Donnie & Ruby Davis and his in-laws, Clovis Guy & Jamie Yates.
Pallbearers are Michael Mario, Jimmy Hugh Weatherbee, Scottie Weatherbee, Greg Davis, James Frank Swinney, Jay Swinney and Cliff Floyd.
