Charles "Chick" Key

Charles "Chick" Key (67) passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at his home in Booneville. He was a member of Osborne Creek Baptist Church. He enjoyed fighting roosters, fishing, hunting and old cars. He loved being with family and friends.

Services are 1 pm  Friday, November 17, 2023 at the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. John Cagle and Bro. Harold Rodgers officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery. visitation will be 11 am to 1 pm Friday, November 17, 2023 at the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.

Charles is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Bolt Key; his son, Charles William "Bo" Key (Christina) of Booneville; his daughter, Melissa Diane Ross (Shane) of Booneville; his brother, James Robert Key (Patricia Ann "Pat") of Williston, TN; his sisters, Dora Lee Whittemore (Mac) of Booneville and Judy Anderson of Booneville; his grandchildren, Ashley Key, Haley McDonald, Shyanne Ross, Konner Windham, Madison Windham and Autumn Windham; and his great-grandchild, Karter Conley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee and Lula Mae Key; and his brother, Johnny Matthew Key.

Pallbearers are Bo Key, Alex Spencer, Brandon Cook, Michael Staggs,  Fred Tyler, Daniel Rodgers and Mathew Cox.
