Charles Allen "Charlie" Bishop

Charles Allen "Charlie" Bishop (78) passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born on August 14, 1945 to the late Cecil and Alma Bishop. He was a faithful member of Ozark Baptist Church. He loved going to church, spending time with his family, being outside and walking his beloved dog, Snowball.

Services are 1 pm Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Ozark Baptist Church with Bro. James Young officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be 11-1 Thursday at Ozark Baptist Church.

Charlie is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Cole Bishop of Kirkville; his daughters, Pam Posey of the Ratliff Community, Michelle Coltharp of the Ratliff Community and Tonya Tindoll (Eric) of New Site; his sister, Christine Murphy of Mantachie; his sister-in-law, Joann Bishop of Marietta; his grandchildren, Tim Sawyer (Christina) of Hamilton, PJ Sawyer of Hamilton, Zack McCoy of Kirkville, Colton Tindoll of New Site and Braylon Riddle of Saltillo and 14 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Alma Bishop; his son, Rodney Bishop and his brother, Danny Wayne Bishop.

Pallbearers are Ernie Stephens, Mike Campbell, Lanny Adams, Ricky Hendrix, Jimmy Guin and Don Flemings.
