Bruce Criswell

Bruce Criswell (59) passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, January 3, 2021. Bruce worked in the construction business for over 30 years. He loved his job and operating equipment. When Bruce wasn't working, he was spending time with his kids, grandkids, wife, family and friends. He loved to deer hunt and fish on the river. He enjoyed watching the Rifleman, John Wayne and Mountain Men. He will always be remembered as tough and hard-working. He was a wonderful father and husband who truly will be missed.

Graveside services are 3 pm Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. William Carpenter and Bro. Marvin Robbins officiating. Visitation will be 30 mins prior to service time.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Karen Criswell; his daughters, Savannah Schorfheide (Justin) and Mkayla Beckham (Steven); his step-children, Bobbie Vickers (Brady) and Buck Rogers (Mikaela); his grandchildren, Hallie, JB, Jackson and two more on the way; his step-grandchild, Caleb; his sisters, Judy Holley (Ronnie) and Jo Young (Jerry); his brother, Danny Criswell and his brother-in-law, Terry Fleming.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Inez Criswell and his sister, Dot Fleming.

Pallbearers are; Kyle Jumper, TJ Jumper, Cameron Jumper, Jason Chapman, Chad Newby, Ryan Hammons, Brian Kuykendall, Justin Schorfheide, Scott Harrell and Terry Roberts.

His past and present co-workers will serve as honorary pallbearers.
