Brenda Duncan Johns, 79, passed away at her home in Jacinto, MS, on August 8th, 2025. She was born on June 6th, 1946 to John and Blanche Stacy.
Visitation will be held at Faith Temple Church, Jacinto, MS, on Saturday, August 16th, 2025, beginning at 11:00 A.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M., officiants will be Robert Stacy, David Duncan and Blake Stacy. Burial will follow in the John Stacy Memorial Cemetery.
She dearly loved and cherished her family, her Faith Temple church family, and all of her many friends, but most of all she loved Jesus. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, friendship, ministry and love.
She is survived by her brothers, Robert (Diane) Stacy and Sammy (Janet) Stacy of Jacinto; her daughters, Shiela Duncan and Lisa Duncan of Jacinto; Miriam (Greg) Beard of Booneville, and her beloved son, David Duncan, of Jacinto; the father of her children, Gerald Duncan; her grandsons, Jason (Georgia) Miller, Michael Burks, and Erik (Roxy) Tilley; her granddaughters, Kamme Burks, Everley (Christian) Coats, and Hannah (Conner) Allison; her great- grandchildren, Payton Walker, Taytum Walker, Owen Miller, Duncan Miller, KaMarie Burks, Charlee Tilley, and the sunshine of her heart, Emmie Coats.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Blanche Stacy, her brother, Bobby Stacy, her sister, Debra Stafford, her precious great-grandson, Hollis Burks and her dear Joe Johns.
Pallbearers are: Bobby John Stacy, Barak Stafford, Brandon Stacy, Brian Stacy, Shane Rowe, Brian Corbett, James Shaw, and Ricardo “Kojak” McGaha.
