Bonita V. Pittman

Bonita V. Pittman (64) passed away Friday, June 5, 2026 at Longwood Nursing Facility in Booneville. She was a member of Booneville Church of Christ. She enjoyed crocheting, taking care of her animals and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Services are 3 pm Sunday, June 7, 2026 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Estes officiating. Burial will follow in the Prentiss Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 1-3 pm Sunday in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.

Bonita is survived by her daughter, Bridget Chism (Kyle) of Saltillo; her sons, Jamie Pittman of Booneville and Joseph Pittman of Texas; her sister, Susan Barnett of Booneville; her grandchildren, Cameron Pittman, Tyler McGee, Zara Pittman, Jay Chism and Jon Chism; her nieces, Erica Gilley and Stephanie Johnson and her beloved dog, Pearl.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James & Barbara Vandevander.

Pallbearers are Kyle, Jay & Jon Chism, Cameron Pittman and Tyler McGee.
