Billie Taylor Norris

Billie Taylor Norris (85) passed away Monday, January 16, 2023 at her daughter's home in Marietta. She was a devoted member of Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed going to church, spending time with her family, cooking and quilting. She had a passion for babysitting and devoted much of her life to keeping children. She was also employed at Mantachie Manufacturing and the Hilton Lee.

Services are 2 pm Thursday, January 19, 2023 at East Marietta Baptist Church with Bro. Elbert Ray Bennett and Bro. Wayne Bridges officiating. Graveside services will follow in the Sumners Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at Kesler Funeral Home - Baldwyn Chapel.

Billie is survived by her sons, Roy Dewayne Norris (Shelia) of Mantachie and Tifton Ray Norris of Marietta; her daughter, Brenda Pettigo of Marietta; her grandchildren, Karen Funderburk (Brian), Jessica Norris Hall, Monica Broadway (Matt), Ashley Ford (Michael), Bo Norris (Nikki), April Wheeler (Britt), Jason Pettigo (Molly), Jeremy Norris (Danielle), Shelley Norris, Amber Lane (Ronnie) and Bailey Pettigo; her sisters-in-law, Jannette Taylor and Patsy Taylor; her special caregiver, Fay Pettigo; 15 great-grandchildren & 1 on the way and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, (RC Norris); her parents, Dewey and Christine Taylor; her son-in-law, Ronald Pettigo; her daughter-in-law, Melissa Norris; her granddaughter, Tiffany Norris; her brothers, Raymond, Charles, Guy, Bobby, Robert, Albert and Rather Taylor and her sisters, Juanita Kennedy, Charlene Ward and Leon Hunkapillar.

Her grandchildren will serve as her pallbearers and her great-grandchildren will serve as her honorary pallbearers.
