Obituary

Benny Eugene Burcham (71) passed away Monday, August 24, 2020 at Desoto Baptist Hospital in Southaven, MS. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, racing and horses. He was a member of TN Walking Horse Exhibitors and Breeders Association. 

Services will be 3 pm Thursday, August 27, 2020 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Brown officiating. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at the funeral home. 

Benny is survived by his wife of 25 years, Shelia Burcham of Booneville; his sons, Tony Burcham (Laurie) of Baldwyn, Timmy Burcham of Booneville and Shane Burcham (Brandi) of Booneville; his daughters, Shelley Smith (Jimmie) of Rienzi, Nicole Wren (Matt) of Rienzi and Cassy Woodruff (Dustin) of Alcorn County; his brothers, Smith Burcham (Caroline) of Booneville, John Burcham of Booneville and Teddy Burcham of Booneville; his sisters, Betty Bennett of TN, Linda Chase of Booneville and Kathy Holder of Booneville; his son-in-law, Joe Scott of Mantachie; his special niece, Jessica Whitehurst of Southaven; his grandchildren, Parks Burcham, Pryce Burcham, Madyson Kerr, Courtney Rinehart, Chance Rinehart, Makynlee Smith, Chance Burcham, Zeke Burcham, Adilynn Woodruff, Alyssa Woodruff, Aiden Woodruff, BJ Kent, Chloe Waddle, Davis Claire Scott, Brooklyn Nicole Green and Anna Claire Pennington and 4 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harding and Jettie Burcham; his daughter, Tammy Kay Scott; his brother, Eddy Burcham and his sister, Patsy Burcham.
