Annette D. Richardson

Annette D. Richardson (77) passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at her daughter's home in Rienzi. She was a member of Sardis Primitive Baptist Church. She enjoyed birdwatching, tending to her flowers and garden, watching animals and westerns on tv, riding around on her golf cart, canning, and spending time with her family. She was a very hard worker and she thoroughly enjoyed the time she spent with the “Golden Girls” (her sisters).

Services are 3 pm Friday, June 5, 2026 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Wayne Bridges officiating. Burial will follow in the Sardis Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Thursday, June 4, 2026 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home and 11-3 Friday at the funeral home.

Annette is survived by her daughter, Tammy Vanderford (Roddy) of Rienzi; her son, Jason Richardson of Rienzi; her sisters, Mollie Joe Potts of Rienzi and Ginner Cummings of Booneville; her grandchildren, Casey Reed (Jordan), Cody Gilley (Sarah), Jonathon Richardson and John Garrett Richardson; her great grandchildren, Tucker Miller, Jonah Reed and Wesson Reed; her great great grandchild, Remi; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Richardson; her parents, John Wesley & Alma Weatherbee; her brothers, Hugh Thomas, Bobby, Cotton & Donnie Weatherbee; her sister, Zannie Huddleston; her in-laws, Willard & JW Richardson and JC Miller and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Chris, Jimmy, Wesley & Ty Weatherbee, Chad Potts and Jamie & Jeremy Taylor.

David Huddleston will serve as honorary pallbearer.
