Angela Kay Skelton

Angela Kay Skelton (51) passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. She was a member of Booneville Church of God. She enjoyed singing, drawing, painting, cooking, fishing, being outside, walking, reading, sewing, decorating and playing the piano. She thoroughly loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Services are 2 pm Wednesday, May 19, 2021 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Rev. James Steele, Rev. James Strange and Bro. Kevin Balius officiating. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Tuesday, May 18, 2021 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Skelton is survived by her husband of 35 years, Keith Skelton of Booneville; her sons, Josh Skelton (Morgan) of Booneville and Hunter Skelton of Booneville; her daughter, Katie Heavner (Matt) of Booneville; her brother, Rev. James Steele (Andrea) of Ripley; her sister, Melissa Rost (Mike) of New Albany; her mother, Trish Ledbetter (Charlie) of New Albany; her step-sister, Janet Mullen (Charlie Wayne) of New Albany and her grandchildren, Lily Grace & Emma Beth Skelton and Baylor & Oakley Heavner.

She was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Sammy Lee Steele; her brother, Timothy Wayne Steele; her grandparents, Rev. Albert & Opheila Decanter and Ottis & Hannon Steele and 2 infant children.

Pallbearers are; TK Balius, Matt Heavner, Josh Skelton, Hunter Skelton, David Hall, Hunter Hall, Bill Pickens, Michael Rost, Toby Steele, Tim Strange and Charles Mullen.
