Robert Greg Parrish (56) passed away Saturday July 6, 2019 due to a massive heart attack. Greg was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with the people he loved. Greg was born August 16, 1962 in Lee County to Jimmy Ray Parrish and Judy Huffstatler Parrish Craig. He was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church. He worked at Sunflower as a butcher & then went on to Barclay in Sherman. He drove a Tom's Snack truck for Mr. Munn & Ashley Furniture until he started having health issues. He is survived by two sons; Jacob & Ben Parrish, Grandaughter; Dorothy Parrish, Mother; Judy Huffstatler Parrish Craig, Sister; Nena Capric Parrish, Nephews; Zeke Scott (Brittany) & Hunter Scott (Jaycee), Great-Nephew; Eli Scott Brothers; Mike Craig (Babs) & Jim Craig, Special aunt; Sandy Merritt who was more like a sister & her children Josh Merritt (Beth) & their children Kaylee & Archer, Temple Nichols (Darrin) & their children Will & Cameron , Aunts; Suzanne Montgomery (Shane), Brenda Moore (Tom) & Marilyn Mason (Ricky). Pallbearers are; Danny & Josh Merritt, Mikey Huffstatler, Darrin Nichols, Tony Sudduth & Donald Wayne. Honorary are; Michael Dean Bailey, Rodney & Johnny Miller, Phil Hogue, Billy Foster, Mark O'Callagan, Jimmy Chism & Freddie Wayne Coleman. Services will be 2:00 Tuesday at Anchor Baptist Church with Bro. Tommy Emman & Bro. Don McCutchen officiating. Burial will follow in the New Harmony Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 5 until 9 at the church.
