BOONEVILLE - Robby (41) fought the good fight with supernatural faith, courage and grace. He was awarded his crown of glory on Sunday, May 12, 2019. As he met Jesus, he left his family with a smile on his face. Robby was born on August 18, 1977 in Booneville to Teddy and Martha Johnson. He accepted Christ in June 2002 at the age of 24. He earnestly pursued a relationship with his Heavenly Father. He was an avid student of The Word and his greatest desire was to be a Godly husband and father to his children. Robby surrendered to preach in 2003 and was currently serving as the pastor of Mills Community Baptist Church in Alcorn County. He was active in the Koinonia Emmaus Community. He was employed at North American Pipe. Rob met the love of his life, Nicole, at the age of 18 and were married on August 13, 1999. Their 23 year love story was filled with much laughter, pranks, ministry, parenting and a lifetime of being each other's best friends. God blessed them with two amazing daughters. They were and will always be eternal soul mates. Services will be 7 pm Tuesday May 14, 2019 in the chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Stacks, Bro. Toby Mears, Bro. Kenneth Gentry and Bro. Kevin Hatfield officiating. Visitation will be 5 pm until service time at 7 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Kirkville Cemetery. Robby is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Nicole and their two precious daughters: Maddie (16) and Ryleigh (8); along with his mother, Martha Johnson and a sister, Dalane Owens. He is also survived by his in-laws, Linda and Jimmy Hallmark; his sister-in-law, Lisa Hubbard and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, a niece and father-in-law. Pallbearers are Randy Hill, Jake Hanson, Keith Hatfield, William Montgomery, Pat Streetman, Brad Estes, Jeff Gentry and Michael Edwards. Honorary pallbearers will be North American Pipe Shipping Department.
