BOONEVILLE - Jimmy Wallace Hamblin (76) passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Baptist Memorial East Hospital in Memphis. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a devoted husband and a loving father and grandfather. Services will be 2 pm Tuesday, July 2, 2019 in the chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Ben Parmen, Bro. Greg Smart and Bro. Mark Cagle officiating. Burial will be in the Casey Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Monday at the funeral home. He is survived by his loving wife, Burnis Cagle Hamblin of Booneville; his daughters, Jimma Walden (Michael) of Booneville and Kim McPeak (Keith) of Wheeler; his brothers, Jack Hamblin (Beverly) of Walls and Tom Hamblin (Effie) of Booneville; his sister, Peggy Cleveland (Charles) of Booneville; his grandchildren, Courtney Walden (John Tull), Brookelyn Walden (Sam Griffin), Gavin McPeak and Jacey McPeak; his special great-great nephew, Layton Cagle and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Doyle and Ruby Hamblin; his brother, Bill Hamblin and his sister, Geneva Edge. Pallbearers are; Ronnie Burger, Darrell Burger, Chris Hamblin, Justin Cagle, Larry Cagle, Jim Foster and Jack Foster. Honorary pallbearers are the men of Casey Creek Baptist Church.
