Alton Clay Floyd

Alton Clay Floyd (80) passed away Friday, December 6, 2019 at his home in Booneville. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, being outdoors, watching Gunsmoke and spending time with his family. Services are 1 pm Monday, December 9, 2019 at 1 pm at New Covenant Family Worship Center in Booneville with Bro. Arnold Whitson and Bro. David Krech officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Church of God Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 pm Sunday, December 8, 2019 at the church.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Webb Floyd of Booneville; his sons, Joey Floyd (Greta) of Cairo and Chris Wright (Terina) of Booneville; his daughters, Christine Larson (David) of Booneville, Sandra Jones of Selmer, TN, Melanie McMahan of Booneville and Mary Franklin (Richard) of Booneville; his sister, Clara Sue Brimingham of Booneville; his special friend, Jimmy White of Booneville and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, 2 sisters, his grandson, Lucas McMahan and his parents, Newton and Trannie Floyd.
